The Red Barn Children’s Center is located on four acres of land owned by James and Linda N. Stuhlman at 125 Kelseytown Road in Clinton, CT (map).
The Red Barn was founded by Elizabeth Bolton in 1971 and purchased by the Stuhlmans in 1979. Prior to owning and operating The Red Barn, the Stuhlmans taught in the public school setting. The Director, Linda N. Stuhlman, has an educational background in home economics, education, child development, and family life. She holds degrees from Purdue University and the University of Connecticut. The Assistant Director, Jim Stuhlman, holds degrees from Trinity College and Wesleyan University. Jim was involved with youth sports programs and coaching for many years.
